TEC single-phase induction motors run on a standard 230 V supply, making them the natural choice wherever three-phase power isn’t available — light-industrial units, workshops, agricultural sites and domestic installations. Supplied in a die-cast aluminium housing across the full 0.18 kW to 3.7 kW range — lightweight, thermally efficient, and naturally corrosion-resistant — in 2-pole (3000 rpm) and 4-pole (1500 rpm) speeds.
Two starting configurations are offered, with the right choice determined by the load. Permanent-capacitor (PERM CAP) motors are optimised for easy-start applications such as fans, pumps and conveyors, where a smooth, efficient run is the priority. For harder-starting duties — air compressors, high-pressure washers, vacuum pumps and woodworking machinery — capacitor-start/capacitor-run (CAP START/CAP RUN) motors deliver the high breakaway torque those loads demand. Class F insulation with a Class B temperature rise gives a generous thermal safety margin across both types, and a full choice of foot, flange and combined mounting arrangements makes for a direct mechanical fit.
